擔任台中市外師研習講師:

It was a very good opportunity to put my English skills to test by doing a presentation in English to native speakers, exchanging many interesting ideas about the differences of education reform between Taiwan and the West. We both are very dissatisfied with the current situation and think maybe we can learn from each other. Well, No Child Left Behind incorporated standardized tests and caused backlash while the reduction of study pressure and more student-centered teaching strategies here becomes the new norm in Taiwan. Those policy makers should take more cultural things into consideration when trying to implant those “good” foreign policies.
