Taken away by the lively and impressive dance and child's play performances, along with KMJH's traditional Chinese music club and a science fair demonstration
Three
years running, we've had a blast connecting virtually with our Japanese friends
at Jindai, playing games, sharing school life, and showcasing talents. This
collaboration helps students embrace English and bridge cultures in a way that
textbooks can't, evidenced by the smiles and genuine interaction between our
students. It's far from the rote memorization of regular class, and the results
are clear: happy, engaged students learning through hands-on experience.
Those
students at Jindai wowed us with their energetic dances to an anime theme song
and K-pop music. They must've put in effort to make it in sync, with smiles on
their faces. We responded with a gig of a traditional instrument playing a
renowned anime melody and a group dance for the school's upcoming anniversary
event. Moreover, some boys demonstrated how to blow the ping-pong and maneuver
it up the wooden rack with skillful techniques.
Thanks
to Huiwen Senior High's recommendation, we started this friendship and
collaboration three years ago. Moreover, with Ms. Huang Min's help, we had
those smooth and dynamic exchanges, with Taiwan's national flags waving proudly
across the miles.
