For the last class
of the International Cultural Exchange, what better way to wrap it up than
inviting another AIESEC volunteer to introduce Down Under?
Thanks to the
generosity of Chung Chyuan Junior High, I BORROWED an Australian Chinese
volunteer again. This interaction made myself and the students an English
environment to practice the language. Not only that, we gained a general understanding of the country.
Back in 2012, I
got accepted into a TESOL program. It was subsidized by the Ministry of
Education. I got to fulfill this dream of mine and experience what it's like to
study abroad in Australia for 5 weeks. It was great to reminisce about those good
old days.
My students
learned fun facts about Sydney and Australia. With PowerPoint presentation in
terms of food, landscapes, tourist spots, and school life, they practiced
listening comprehension and also asked a few questions.
