International Education and the ISA Course in KMJH

Conducting a video conference call and introducing a variety of international collaborations and virtual exchanges to all the seventh graders in the auditorium

The idea is to help the 7th graders feel what it’s like to use English through international video conferencing. I conducted a Zoom meeting and invited Jessica, a former AIESEC international volunteer, to interact with the students remotely. Students reacted well to the guessing games and the interviewing activity.

To give a big picture of the school’s ongoing international education, I also introduced the Korean sister school partnership, including the MOU signing, homestay, and the special course. On top of that, by inviting international volunteers as guest speakers, students would get to learn more about foreign cultures.

Students were engaged throughout most of the presentation. Some homeroom teachers gave me very positive feedback. I’d say it was a successful one because not only the whole 7th graders took part in the school’s ISA course but reacted well to the interactive activities.
