An engaging activity for practicing making English sentences, word order and collocations, verb tenses, and so on
We had a fun Skype session today with a new activity called one word story, with everybody presenting only one word at a time to create a story. To make it more interesting, any absurd scenario is accepted. For example, the princess could fall in love with an ugly bunny, instead of a handsome prince in disguise.
During the activity, you have to pay attention to what your partners just said to carry on the story. Also, you need to have a good knowledge of parts of speech to avoid getting corrected by your partners from time to time. Last but not least, don't hesitate. The more careful you are with your word choice, the less creative the story will be.
