It was totally my
honor today to get invited by this well-established school which has achieved great
success in Cooperative Learning. Principal Li took part in the workshop
throughout the entire time and asked questions that indicated he himself is
also an expert in this field.
I did
microteaching targeting a variety of reading activities which worked quite well
to engage participants by keeping them busy running around, talking to each
other, jotting down their ideas and of course, doing a little oral report in
English with the help of Gallery Walk.
Participants were
comprised of teachers of different subjects, so only classroom English was
used.
